Ehi-passika (p): Giáo thuyết của Ðức
Phật—The teaching of the Buddha.
Ehi-passiko (skt & p): Come-and-see.
Ekacitta (skt): Nhứt tâm—One mind—The
one-thought moment in which a meditator experiences Non-duality.
Ekacittam (skt): See Ekacitta.
Eùkacyana (skt): Nhứt thừa. Trong các
kinh điển Phật giáo, Phật đề ra thừa thặng để tùy căn cơ trình độ của
chúng sanh m cứu độ. Kỳ thật Ðại thừa, Tiểu thừa, Trung thừa hay Kim cang
thừa chỉ l những tên khác của Phật thừa. H nh giả có thể cùng lúc thực
tập hay đi trên bất cứ thừa n o—One vehicle. In Buddhist sutras, the
Buddha talked about Yana or Vehicle so that beings from different levels
can absorb and practice Buddhism. In reality, Mahayana, Hinayana,
Madhyamika, or Vajrayana are only different names for Buddhayana.
Cultivators can practice all three vehicles at once.
Ekagra (skt): Nhất duyên—Oneness.
Ekagrata (skt) Ekaggata (p):
Nhứt tâm—Tính sắc bén của tinh thần—Tập trung sự chú ý v o một điểm duy
nhất. Mọi năng lượng tâm thần được tập hợp xung quanh một đối
tượng—One-pointedness of mind—Attention focus only or alone (focusing or
concentration of mind) on a single object. Situtation in which all mental
powers are concentrated on one object—See Samadhi.
Ekaks(h)ana (skt): Nhứt tâm—The One
Moment of eternal now.
Eùkajatipratibuddha (skt): Nhứt sanh
bổ xứ—Bồ Tát—One hindered by one more birth (a name for Maitreya
Bodhisattva who is the Buddha-to-come (next Buddha) in this world.
Eùkamsamayam (skt): Nhứt thời.
Eka-tattvabhyasa (skt): Hoạt động lập
đi lập lại (nghiên cứu) duy nhất về ý thức cao nhất thâm nhập tất cả mọi
thực thể như cái ngã sâu nhất—Repeated activity or study of one reality,
the supreme consciousness, which permeates all beings as their inner most.
Ekatva-anyatva (skt): Nhất dị (đồng
nhất v dị biệt)—Oneness and otherness.
Ekavyavaharika (skt) See Hinayana.
Ekayana: Nhứt Thừa hay Phật thừa
(Buddhayana). Cỗ xe duy nhất của đạo Phật, học thuyết duy nhất có thể đưa
tới chỗ đạt được giác ngộ cao nhất v Phật tánh—One vehicle or Buddhayana;
the one teaching that leads to supreme enlightenment and the attainment of
Buddhahood.
Ekayanavabodha (skt): Sự thể chứng
Nhất Thừa, nghĩa l sự dập tắt sự phân biệt sai lầm bằng cách trú trong
Như Như—The realization of the One Vehicle. The realization means the
extinction of wrong discrimination by abiding in Suchness.
Ekottaragama (skt): Kinh Tăng Nhất A
H m—Tên của bộ Kinh thứ tư trong bộ A H m—Agama Sutra Increased by
One—Name of the fourth Agama or sacred ekottara: Greater or more by one,
increasing by one.
